"I am thrilled how the world of shibari incorporates just about every aspect of the things I love most dearly. To me, all parts of shibari are equally beautiful and enjoyable: the beauty of the art form, the overcoming of challenges by brave explorers, the eroticism and sensual connection, and as a playground for my own silly, loving, supportive,
and dominant nature."

Boundless Possibilities
The world of Shibari -rope bondage originating as an art form from Japan- is a fascinating playground of intimacy, vulnerability, power dynamics, somatic sensations, boundaries, erotica, visual beauty and so so much more.
Core values such as communication, respect, trust, presence and empowerment are key to creating an authentic experience. It is these values that I place as paramount in sharing this art form with others, and are the essence of what makes shibari a valuable tool for exploring beyond taboos and interpersonal edges.
Ultimately, shibari is a vast limitless playground and serves as a potent option for what all humans desire most; honest and authentic connection. Whatever your reason for shibari, the experience between two or more beings leaves a lasting impression and has potential for great shifts in how we show up in life and how we relate both in and out of the ropes.

Getting To Know Each Other
What to expect:
All potential shibari participants will be required to fill out an intake form in which one will communicate an acknowledgement of risks, informed consent, and a general overview of interest or previous experiences.
I also require an in-person interview with all potential participants to further understand their intentions and to make a general decision of what my own boundaries will be. The first boundary is deciding if we are right for each other to share this practice. Please understand that I am not providing an “open for all” service. Shibari is a intimate affair and if I decide not to tie you, it should not be taken as anything other than I personally don’t feel to connect in this way, just as anyone decides who they will share intimacy with. It’s not an assessment of your character or personality. It could be for various reasons including my own personal feelings that have nothing to do with you. I may be more available at another time.
Once we come to an understanding and decide upon a time and date, we will meet at the studio and have a further discussion that will clearly communicate boundaries for the day. We will also discuss other options of types of experiences that may be shared for that day's shibari scene.
